‘The Lady and the Lion’ – Eurythmy Performance

‘The Lady and the Lion’ a tale by the brothers Grimm, tells about the meeting of Lily, the beautiful daughter of a merchant, and the Lion who is an enchanted Prince. After their wedding, an amazing story develops that tests all of Lily’s resources to find her husband once again as the enchantment is strong and powerful. She meets the Sun and Moon, the four Winds, a Dragon and much more…..

The tale is performed by the fourth year students of Eurythmy West Midlands, based at the Glasshouse Centre for the Arts. Eurythmy is an art of movement that aims to make the words visible through movement.

Come and join us in this magical story, full of movement, music and colour!

The performance will last for 30mins and will be held in the Furnace Theatre, The Glasshouse, Ruskin Glass Centre.

Admission is free, but donations are always welcome.
