Concert Pianist Domonkos Csabay recital including Mozart: Fantasy in C minor, Schubert: Fantasy in C major op.15, Debussy: Images oublièe and Bartók: Improvisations on Hungarian Peasant Songs.
After graduating from the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest in 2014, Hungarian pianist Domonkos Csabay received a prestigious scholarship from the Josef Weingarten Trust to study at Birmingham Conservatoire under John Thwaites and Pascal Nemirovski.
The recipient of many awards including first prize on the Leo Weiner International Chamber Music Competition in 2013, Birmingham Conservatoire Piano Prize, Symphony Hall Recital Prize and in 2016 Birmingham’s prestigious Amy Brant International Piano Competition Domonkos was named ‘Junior Prima’ in Hungary.
Domokos has graced the stage at the Great Hall of Franz Liszt Academy, Béla Bartok National Concert Hall in Budapest, Mozarteum Wiener Saal, Salzburg, and the Symphony Hall Birmingham.
