An opportunity for beginners or those with some experience to explore enamelling.
Courses will be run on a quarterly basis allowing regular participants to learn new processes, refine their techniques and thoroughly enjoy the art of enamelling with (enamel artist) Carol Griffin.
2 Day Course: Copper Foil & Liquid Enamels
Friday 26th-Saturday 27th October 2012
10.00am-4.00pm, £85
Experiment with copper foil and liquid enamels. You will be given a sheet of fine copper oil from which you will produce items to take home with you at the end of the two day course. Learn how to cut, shape and form, punch and emboss your items on Day 1 before applying liquid enamels and firing your piece(s) on Day 2. Your handmade creative pieces could include small bowls or abstract elements, dragonflies, butterflies, insects, leaves or flowers.
All equipment, tools and materials included. Suitable for adults only.
