The Caves Creative Writers Group…

…at the Glasshouse Arts Centre

For anyone interested in writing poetry or prose. Beginners as well as practising writers.

 

Weekly group during term-times:

7.30 – 9.00pm Thursdays.

Venue: The Caves at The Glasshouse Arts Centre, Wollaston Road, Stourbridge DY8 4HF.

Free parking.

£7/£4 conc. or 6 sessions for £30.

This group will help you unlock your creativity and find your voice; establish a practice and produce work; help you to judge your own work and to respond helpfully to other people’s work.

Each week we will:

Do writing and creativity exercises

Share our own writing and get creative feedback

Share the work of other writers who inspire us

We also aim to:

Plan workshops, publications and a blog.

Develop regular events with visiting writers/readers/performers and open mic.

Run festivals and competitions.

Peter Howe has a BA in Fine Art from the University of Northumbria and an MA from Oxford Brookes in Social Sculpture.

He  achieved a ‘Highly Commended’ in the 2012 Bridport prize for Flash Fiction.
