Cards or small artworks will also be on sale each Saturday 11.00 – till 3.30 in the exhibition area; (by the Ruskin Glass Centre café) this will create an opportunity to meet some of the artists.
Take13 is a group of 13 women artists based in the West Midlands. Its members are professional artists who combine their practice with other commitments.
Take13 was established in 2008, following their successful exhibition “A Room of Our Own” which celebrated in part the spaces the artists created for themselves, ‘their studios’.
The group is diverse in the contemporary work they create, ranging from painting, both abstract and representational, to printmaking, drawing, textiles, mosaics, photography, mixed media and sculpture. In their individual practice, members have exhibited locally, nationally and internationally.
