Webb Corbett Reflections Day

from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm

We want to invite ex glassworkers from all glass factories to come along and share with us their memories, stories, photos in order that we can record for future generations the Stories of Stourbridge Glassmaking.

Some of the things happening on the day include:

  • Demonstrations by retired glass masters; see if the methods used 50 years ago are the same as they are today
  • See exhibits and artefacts that have never before been seen in public view
  • Take part in active research into the glass industry of the area
  • Add to the ‘Stourbridge Glass Workers Wall’, with details of yourself or family members
  • Meet ex-colleagues from the glass industry
  • Bring in photo’s and artefacts to record on our heritage database to help preserve the history of the area
  • Exhibition from Amblecote History Society
  • Talks from experts such as Graham Fisher MBE
